REBLOG. REBLOG. REBLOG. oh how everyone should FOREVER reblog….and stop giving your kids fucking smartphones.
I met with one of my favorite teachers a while back. He was an my English teacher. He was a total hard ass. Anyway, I explained how even though I only graduated 3-4 years ago..I felt like there was a huge “generation” gap between me and the kids in school now. He followed by saying, “There really shouldn’t be, but there is, and it’s absolutely terrible. Kids these days have the internet. The internet, while a great tool, provides them in instant answers. They can look it all up on their smart phones and laptops, but no one wants to work for their knowledge anymore. Reading a book is somehow tabu, but reading wikipedia is alright. The world will fall apart if kids—and even some adults—don’t learn to work again”
Me: REASONS WHY I LOVE YOU.I also want to say, WITH PRIDE……that I do not own a smartphone. or iphone..never have. I can barely work one. I don’t need internet on my phone.
it’s call patience. I’ll get online when I get home.

Last year was a year largely under wraps for Styxxx & Clones. Behind the curtain of hiatus, there were hang ups, losses and bits of disappointment. However, there lots of change ups, exchange of ideas, time for reflection, reconfiguration and lots of work being done. We’re not here JUST to sell you a product, we want to provide an experience, something people can connect with and feel good about, because at the end of the day that’s what creates lasting memories. I hope you all haven’t been sleeping on us because it’s going to be an interesting year for sure.

STOP SCROLLING.
This is about saving a girls life. Kahlia Wilson goes to my school and is in year 12. She got cancer in her pelvis when she was only 13 years old, and after beating it once it has come back in her chest. Regular medicine is not an option anymore and she needs to travel to Perth for radical cancer treatment. This treatment will cost her family $30,000, money they just don’t have.
PLEASE donate at www.curekahlia.com
If you can’t donate, reblog this, or forward this to people on Facebook, and Twitter.

My friend Jason just started up a magazine called Gawd Mode, and I seriously believe he’s onto something here. A collection of oddities, bizarre images, movie reviews, music and video games, Gawd Mode somehow takes all these things that have seemingly nothing to do with each other and each month, puts it all in a tidy package that is a constant page turner. Definitely worth checking out. I contributed some images to this month’s issue and if you’re curious about more you can always check out Gawd Mode’s Facebook page. To view more of my photography, you can check out my Flickr.
This should be reposted and reblogged.
