REBLOG. REBLOG. REBLOG. oh how everyone should FOREVER reblog….and stop giving your kids fucking smartphones.

I met with one of my favorite teachers a while back. He was an my English teacher. He was a total hard ass. Anyway, I explained how even though I only graduated 3-4 years ago..I felt like there was a huge “generation” gap between me and the kids in school now. He followed by saying, “There really shouldn’t be, but there is, and it’s absolutely terrible. Kids these days have the internet. The internet, while a great tool, provides them in instant answers. They can look it all up on their smart phones and laptops, but no one wants to work for their knowledge anymore. Reading a book is somehow tabu, but reading wikipedia is alright. The world will fall apart if kids—and even some adults—don’t learn to work again”

Me: REASONS WHY I LOVE YOU.

I also want to say, WITH PRIDE……that I do not own a smartphone. or iphone..never have. I can barely work one. I don’t need internet on my phone.
